Former Transport Canada Met Tech Hall Beach, 1 tour, (a long one!) August 1969 to December 1970. Arrived on a DC3 at 21 left much much older at 22! (probably on the same plane).
Met men walked everywhere, including to the Met Office each day, in ANY weather! Loneliest walks I ever had were at midnight in a blizzard to start my shift. Sometimes while working a midnight shift in a blizzard in that shoe box on stilts you felt that you were the only person left on earth! You were happy to hear the clack clack of the teletype!
Enjoyed your video very much. Thanks John Yarema, 15 month resident of B train!

John:
I take my hat off to you. Being the Met guy at the Main Site was a lonely job.
